This is one of my possible photos to be published in my magazine 'Raw Fusion' as it posseses a certain factor which reflects the ideologyof my magazine. The unedited version of my photo seems to be missing something as it dosn't look proffesional although i think it is a good picture. After i edited this in photoshop i found it looked a lot better and more proffesional.

Title

Title!

I have decided to name the title of my new music rock magazine - Raw Fusion! This because '' raw '' represents raw talent from new bands featured within the magazine and also '' Fusion '' represents the fusion of different rock genres featured in the magazine. I like the name as it is catchy and memorable.

These are my logo ideas for the magazine as they are powerful eye catching and forceful. Also the layouts of the logos make it seem creative and full of life. The font i have chosen really reflects the genre of my magazine as it is 'raw' and bold. The logo i have chosen will be modified into more rock themed however the tiger also reflects the power of the magazine and its bands. It is eye catching.

Future Publishing - Future publishing was created in 1985 by an unemployed computer journalist, Chris Anderson. It is a special-interest media company based in London and Bath. Future publishing have produced games, technology, automotive, cycling, films and photography magazines. publishing just over 100 magazines since its existence. Future Publishing have produced such music magazines as Total Guitar and Guitar World. These are two magazines which possess similar elements to my idea as i have taken those magazines as my inspiration.

IPC Media - IPC Media is one of the UK's leading magazine Publishers producing such big names as NME, Nuts and Loaded. The NME music magazine is also another large inspiration into the ideas of my new music magazine as it is full of creative layouts and a unique twist on the world of music.

Once again i will be applying liiar to my work as sort of a guide line which will remind me of my targets and also give me some more information about the overall foundations of the magazine.

language - The print layout, formal or informal language, font, text colour, logo creation, images and proportion are all things which will be taken into high consideration and research as i expand through my task of creating my new music magazine. These factors are all deadly important as they are what build up the expected conventions.



ideology - The main purpose of my magazine is to inform, publicise and advertise advertise new bands and band events which are up and coming. Also as i am basing my magazine on more of a rock theme. More things such as the instruments used by the bands will be featured to attract a bigger music loving audience.



institution - We control the production process. We can choose the content inside the magazine (layouts logos etc) The Storys come from different bands, music genres etc.



audience - For a music/guitar magazine the audience i would be appealing to would obviously be guitar players. However in the bands featured in these magazines are of the modern era therefore interesting more teen readers.



representation - As i am representing a certain age group represented through new modern bands I will need to think about layout, font and pictures to represent my genre correctly. My aim is to give the magazine a sense of ergency with the use of powerful layouts and bold fonts. This is to make sure the magazine is the number one seller
